"The witness saw a triangle shaped object hovering between apple
trees on a hill that overlooks his backyard at 7:30 AM. The object then rose from the
ground level to 300 feet up over the tree line in less that a second. The witness woke
his son and pointed to the object. He ran downstairs and grabbed his digital Olympus
camera running into his back yard. The witness states, 'The object had moved 200 yards
east and I snapped six pictures of a triangular object that I cannot explain. There was
no wind, there was no sound and it moved faster than any object I have seen. It seemed
to spin like a top. After examining the pictures at 800X, we noticed a white field around
the object that looked very interesting.' Thanks to Thanks to Peter Davenport NUFORC"

"Massachusetts Man Films Six-Foot Metallic Cone-Shaped Object
[Original headline: Did a UFO buzz Lunenburg?]
LUNENBURG -- Barry Stone and his son, Brandon, say they saw something last Monday morning [Aug 12] that they cannot explain. It was about 7:30 a.m. when Barry Stone stepped from the shower and looked out the bathroom window toward the Marshall Farm apple orchard. Just six weeks ago, the Stones had moved from Fitchburg into a new house in the Apple Country Estates subdivision off of New West Townsend Road. Stone said he and his family have enjoyed watching the deer and wild turkeys that occasionally wander through their back yard, which abuts the farm.
But that morning it was not the wildlife that drew his attention. Instead, it was what he says looked to be a metallic cone-shaped object hovering low over the orchard, pointed side down. It was about 200 yards from his house. "It looked like it was spinning, and it was about the size of a dishwasher," he said. As he watched it work its way down a row of apple trees, Stone thought it might be a contraption that was being used to spray the orchard. Stone said that possibility disappeared when it darted suddenly to the west, away from his house, to a location above a stand of old pine trees.
"It happened in a split second," said Stone, snapping his fingers for emphasis. Seeing that, Stone ran into his son's bedroom and woke up 8-year-old Brandon. He then ran downstairs to find his digital camera. Brandon Stone described the object as "a triangular thing with a ball on top of it." He guessed it to be about six feet high. He reported seeing it fly straight for a distance, then disappearing behind some trees. "I was pretty shocked at how fast it was moving," he said.
Downstairs, his father grabbed his camera and ran out a sliding door in the kitchen and into the back yard. By that point, the object had flown eastward over the house and was about a half-mile away, Barry Stone said. He leveled the camera and took a number of pictures in quick succession. The object was traveling at a high rate of speed and was soon out of sight, said Stone. He estimated the entire incident lasted about 90 seconds.
He went back in the house to his computer to review the photographs. What Stone claims to be the puzzling device appears as a small dot in about six frames. When zoomed in on, very fuzzy images of a triangular object are visible. In one picture, the object appears to be reflecting sunlight. "I wish I had something closer up, but it all happened so fast," he said. Stone says he does not know just what it was that he and his son saw. He does not believe the craft was some kind of homemade device.
"If someone has something that's remote controlled, you'd have heard something, and it's not going to be able to move that fast," he said. There were no reports of similar objects with local police departments. Neither the Federal Aviation Administration nor the National Weather Service reported any calls, but spokespeople did say there were meteor showers visible on Sunday and Monday.
Stone said that was he saw certainly wasn't behaving like a meteor. "People will call me crazy, but some object went by my house, and I'm concerned," he said. "I'm not looking for any publicity. I'm just telling you what I saw."
Stone said he is planning on setting a still-frame camera with telephoto lens on a tripod in his kitchen, just in case whatever it was makes a return visit." This was published in the Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise.

"The witness observed a silver cigar shaped object moving across
the sky... He stated, 'This object was flying very high in the sky close to Logan Airport
and moving very fast from left to right. This movement went on for about one minute then
the object vanished.' Thanks to Peter Davenport NUFORC http.www.ufocenter.com."

"My friend Alex went to drop off his girlfriend Krissy and on the way they were driving past Leominster's recently cleaned and filtered landfill. As they looked up into the sky, they reported seeing a UFO in the shape of a triangle with three lights on the bottom of it. They said it was 200-300 ft. from the ground, hovering in one general area with almost no noise at all except a little humming. They pulled into a parking lot and watched for futher information. The front light went out and then the rest of the lights went out and it would reappear in a different part of the sky. This happened a few times and then the object was not seen again. A week prior to this event, our friend Aaron who works for a limousine service in Leominster which is located about 500 ft. from the sighting, was on his way to Boston to Logan Airport. While on duty and on his way into Boston, he called us back in Leominster and told us that he was driving into Boston and saw the same exact thing. A triangular object with three lights that was hovering low to the ground and made almost no noise. It disappeared and reappeared 2 to 3 times that evening within a matter of 15 min. The same was also reported at an apple farm in Leominster on Sept. 5 and was in our local paper I believe." "My Parks Department coworker and I were speaking to
our supervisor, truck to truck, when our supervisor drew our
attention to what appeared to be ice crystals falling from the
sky on January 21, 2003, at 10:15 AM. They were unusual as the
were large but, obviously light. We dismissed this as wind
blown ice and we drove off. My partner and I then noticed an
object in the southeast sky that was in front of two jets who
were both making contrails. The object appeared to be oval and
very white or was reflecting the sun to a high degree. It
looked to us as if it was traveling away from us as it was
getting smaller with no side to side deviation from its course.
We have both seen a lot of aircraft, and this was not a
familiar object. We were both watching for several minutes when
suddenly it appeared to go out of focus as if it was caught in
the shimmer over heat sources. We both said at the same time
"did you see that!" The object then began to glow very brightly
for 30 seconds then faded again and rapidly dwindled away going
up and showing no contrail. My partner said he thought there
was a glow around it, but I did not see it except when it was
bright. We both watched it till it disappeared in the distance.
We spend allot of time outside and there is a military air base
very close to us and we are use to seeing various aircraft in
our skies, but this was very different."

"We live on top of a hill and were playing basketball
at noon, when we noticed a group of 12 objects up in the sky on
May 18, 2003. We thought they were parachutes and were
wondering why they had opened so high up in the sky. They
started out as a closed group but started to move apart from
each other. They moved very slowly, pretty much the same way one
moves with a rectangular parachute. We also noticed one object
apart from the main group much lower than the rest of the
objects. The objects came in a rainbow of colors, such as
yellow, green, blue, and red. We noticed that the top ones
started to move UP instead of down. We thought that because of
the wind streams, they would be in trouble and end up all the
way to New York from Boston. However, the objects started to
move up and then just simply "disappeared" from the sky. Three
of us were watching at first and I invited my two daughters to
see the objects as well. I am pretty sure that there were a lot
of people in the area that saw it because this happened at noon
with blue skies". (NUFORC)

"On Sunday, July 13, 2003, at 7:15 p.m., Bob Zalewski reported, "My wife Vicky and myself spotted a silver craft for maybe two to three seconds. It was a teardrop shape. When we tried to see it again, it was gone."
"It was sunny and no clouds in sight. We were heading east on (Interstate Highway) I-84 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, about four miles (7 kilometers) north of" Mashapaug Pond in Union, Connecticut.
"There was no place in the sky where it could hide. There was only open space. At arm's length, it appeared to be the size of a quarter-carat diamond. I'd say it was about 28,000 feet (8,400 meters) up. We swear that it was no plane.""

"The witness reported, I was over at friend's house on August 1, 2003, looking for shooting stars at 12:20 PM, and said, "Look at that one, its bright." I was convinced it was a shooting star, until it made a random course change. The object looked about the size of an airplane flying high. However, the lighting was too bright indicating that it was close. It flew from the center of the sky to the horizon in about five seconds, and made a hard turn to the right through a set of clouds flying south towards Marblehead. The object had three lights on the front in a triangle shape, and the lighting was orange. It definitely traveled through the clouds, because the clouds were illuminated as it passed through. It moved way to fast to be a plane."

"An experienced sky watcher was watching the sunset on December 13, 2003, at 4:25 PM, when a very bright line in the sky caught his eye. A bright rod was about one fist’s width above the horizon and a little left of where the sun had set, and about the length of a thumbnail. He states, “I used a pair of binoculars to get a better look and discovered that this was not a contrail since the front and back where completely flat and the length of the object was extremely straight. It was an absolutely perfect, highly elongated rectangle with a length to width ratio of about ten to one. For the first minute or so I observed, it didn't move at all. Then, over the next thirty seconds, it slowly moved about it's own length to the right, and then stopped moving. I observed it for another 30 seconds, and then it just suddenly vanished. The four corners of the elongated rectangular shape were perfect 90-degree angles. The perception was that this was something far away and very large. I categorize the shape as cylinder, that flew away in the blink of an eye and was likely self-illuminated..." Source: George A. Filer, Filer's Files #52- 2003, 12/24/03 www.georgefiler.com
